Childcare
The Children’s Center provides a fun, safe and welcoming play space for all children ages 6 weeks through 4 years. We select activities that are entertaining, educational and developmentally appropriate for your child. All of our staff members are certified in CPR/first aid. And we welcome both Club members and their guests.
Call us to schedule a guided tour of the Children’s Center with our director. Your children will love it! There’s a lot to do in our large playroom, art area and outdoor play area, complete with swings, sand and play structure. The Children’s Center also features an infant room, pre-toddler room and toddler room. Daily activities in the toddler room can include: Circle Time, art, snack time, outside play and unstructured play.

Hours
Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Reservations
The Children’s Center takes reservations online starting on Thursday night at 9:00 pm for the following week (Monday through Sunday). Or you may call us directly starting on Friday morning at 8:00 am at 650.593.1313.
Club members may also make online reservations. First time using the online system? Before you can register online, you will need to confirm your e-mail address and the ages of your children with the receptionist at the Children’s Center.
Cost
The cost for childcare is $7.40 per hour (per child) for Family memberships and $7.90 for Individual and Couple memberships. Receive a 10% discount by purchasing a prepaid pass good for 20 hours of childcare (non-refundable).
Cancellations and Late Arrival
We understand that plans change. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please call us so that we may adjust your child’s start time. If you must cancel, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so that we may offer your space to another child. If we receive cancellation notice within 24 hours of your reservation time, you will be billed for half of your reserved time.
Drop-Ins
Drop-in appointments are accepted when space and staffing allow, but are not guaranteed. Reservations are required during peak service hours: Monday - Sunday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and Wednesdays from 1:00 - 5:00 pm.
What to Bring
- Wipes and diapers (one diaper for every hour of reserved time)
- Extra set of clothes
- Plastic bottles and containers only
- Snacks (see below)
*Please label all items. Only items that are labeled will be used or fed to a child.
Snacks
In our infant and pre-toddler rooms, children are fed snacks as needed or as requested by parents. On the toddler floor, we feed snacks to children at the following times: 9:45 am, 12:00 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Snack times last approximately 30 minutes. Our snack schedule is firmly set to provide organization and stick to a routine.
*Because of the severity of peanut allergies, food containing peanuts or peanut butter are not permitted in the Children’s Center.
Health Guidelines
For the well-being of our children and staff, it is imperative that your child is free from any contagious infections when entering the Children’s Center. We reserve the right to send any child home if they have contagious symptoms. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified to pick them up immediately. Also, please administer any medications at home, as our staff is not authorized to do so. This includes applying sunscreen and diaper rash ointment.
