Private Instruction

Our certified, experienced instructors can develop a Pilates or Gyrotonic program based on your individual needs and interests. Whether you’re recovering from injury, trying to improve your golf swing or seeking a new mind-body challenge, private Pilates instruction can be just what you’re looking for.

During your private Pilates session, you’ll work with a variety of apparatus in our dedicated Pilates studio. Since you’re the only student, your instructor can fine-tune your movements more effectively, giving you the maximum benefit from Pilates. You can schedule private or semi-private sessions Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, and select weekend hours. Each lesson lasts for 55 minutes.

Individual lesson prices and package discounts available:

  • One-on-one: $86 per lesson or $428 for a 6-pack ($71.33 each)
  • Two-on-One: $53.50 per person or $289 for a 6-pack ($48.17 each)
  • Three-on-One: $48 per person or $256 for a 6-pack ($42.67 each)
  • Four-on-One: $43 per person or $225 for a 6-pack ($37.50)

Gyrotonic Training

The Gyrotonic Expansion System is now available at Pacific Athletic Club. “The uniqueness of the System,” as described by Gyrotonic.com, “is that it simultaneously stretches and strengthens the body with minimal effort, while increasing range of motion and developing coordination.” It's an excellent training method for elite sports performance, rehabilitation (post–physical therapy) and general conditioning. Great for all ages.

Gyrotonic is similar to Pilates in that you are always engaging the core muscles of your abdomen, lower back, rib cage and pelvis. What's different is that you move in continuous fluid pathways in all planes of motion. Gyrotonic has a more circular, energetic quality that originates from the spine and flows out through the limbs. There's a focus on opening up to create space within the joints, taking pressure off nerves and improving flexibility while strengthening. The body works in an integrated manner, increasing one's functional capacity.
