Why Yoga?

The goal of yoga is to unite the body, mind and spirit. It can help you reduce stress, increase flexibility and lean muscle mass, strengthen core muscles and improve your balance. Most Americans are familiar with the Hatha style of yoga, which is just one of eight “limbs” of this ancient practice. Hatha yoga is the physical practice of postures (or asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and relaxation.
